IRCC has now posted Express Entry round 439 on canada.ca: a Canadian Experience Class selection on 1 September 2026 at 10:19:50 UTC. IRCC issued 2,000 invitations. The lowest-ranked candidate invited had a CRS score of 521. The tie-breaking rule is 18 August 2026 at 03:24:13 UTC.

This is a capacity signal for business immigration files, not a change to C11, ICT, or PNP entrepreneur criteria. CEC cut-offs still sit well above most owner-operator and intra-company profiles unless a provincial nomination is already in the pool.

What our files show: across 300-plus business immigration files from 30-plus countries, CEC draws at this CRS band rarely move an active C11 or entrepreneur nomination on their own. Advisors should treat this round as a reminder to keep nomination and work-permit sequencing independent of federal CRS swings.

IRCC reported 226,673 candidates in the pool as of 30 August 2026, including 19,542 in the 501-600 CRS band. A 2,000-ITA CEC round at 521 therefore trims only a thin slice of that band.
